BluProof is an elastomeric, single component SBR, fibre reinforced membrane that has been designed for General wet area waterproofing applications including: Wet areas and shower alcoves Above ground (external) applications such as balconies Below ground (external) applications such as basement walls BluProof forms a flexible and high tensile membrane finish displaying good high build reinforced properties, providing an easy to use single component membrane for vertical and horizontal surfaces. BluProof offers excellent adhesion properties over building substrates including concrete, masonry, renders, cement sheeting, wet area sheet surfaces and plaster board surfaces. Possesses outstanding low water vapour transmission properties and fully compatible with polymer modified cement-based tiles adhesives, screeds and renders. BluProof meets the requirements of: AS/NZS 4858:2004 Wet area membranes as a Class III membrane Above ground (external) applications such as balconies Below ground (external) applications such as basement walls Product Features: Elastomeric, flexible and high tensile strength properties Once cured will not re-emulsify Outstanding low vapour transmission properties Excellent adhesion to surfaces Compatible bonding properties for tile adhesives, screeds and renders Solvent free, non-hazardous, VOC level <80ppm BluProof 10 Year Product Guarantee The WaterStop Shop guarantees the performance of BluProof when: applied to properly prepared, structurally sound surfaces, and tiles are installed in accordance with AS3958, and waterproofing is installed in accordance with AS3740 (internally) or AS4654.2 (externally) in conjunction with; – The WaterStop Shop’s written application instructions, – all relevant requirements of the National Construction Code (NCC) – any relevant local building requirements, and – good trade practices The guarantee is for a period of 10 (ten) years from the time of application and only covers the cost of materials and labour of the original installation when the product is proven and acknowledged to be faulty
