Surface Preparation Ensure all surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust and grease. Remove all loose materials (including old filler) from the areas to be filled. Moisten surfaces with a water sprayer prior to application to optimise expansion and adhesion. Directions for Use – Shake aerosol can vigorously for at least 20 seconds. – Screw straw applicator onto can. – Fill holes and cavities to 65% as foam will expand. – Shake can regularly during application. – If working in layers, moisten each layer before applying the next. Limitations Expanda Foam P300 is not UV stable. If the foam will be left exposed to sunlight, it is recommended that the cured foam be painted. Cleaning Fresh foam may be removed with a suitable cleaner. Note that some cleaners may attack PVC and coated surfaces — test in an inconspicuous area first. Dried foam can only be removed mechanically. Storage and Shelf Life Always store vertically with the valve pointed upward or the foam may clog the valve. Store between 5°C and 25°C; ventilate if above 25°C. Do not store above 35°C or expose to temperatures exceeding 50°C. Do not leave in a car, trunk or anywhere in direct sunlight or high temperatures due to risk of the can bursting. Shelf life is a minimum of 18 months from date of production if stored as directed. Disposal Do not puncture or burn cans even when empty. Empty containers may be disposed of via local landfill in accordance with local authority regulations. Do not dispose of down drains or into local waterways. Precautions and First Aid Highly flammable. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. May cause allergy, asthma symptoms or breathing difficulties if inhaled. May cause allergic skin reaction. Keep out of reach of children. – Inhaled: Remove to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. – Skin contact: Wash with plenty of soap and water. – Eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. – Swallowed: Immediately call a Poison Center or doctor. Call a Poison Center or doctor if you feel unwell.
