Soft and weak adhesive residues, paint, and gypsumresiduesshouldbecompletelyremoved. Method of use Whatever the subfloors, the installation must be realized with a lacquer roll 8 mm. Impervious substrates Apply primer evenly in a thin coat (consumption : approx. 100 g/m²). Do not over apply and avoid puddle formation. Allow to dry for approx. 120 minutes prior to over-coating with a self-levelling compound. Smoothing and levelling compounds must be applied within 24 hours after primer application. Existing ceramic tiles Check the right adhesion of tiles as well as the moisture content in the subfloor. The free tiles must be rebonded. Sand the tiles and wash them with a strong lye. Rinse carefully and let completelydry before to install the primer. Existing crunchy vinyl tiles When the crunchy tiles are right bonded and can be maintained on place, after a complete cleaning, washing and drying, install the primer and let it dry before recovering. Coverage : 100 g/m². Residues of old acrylic, alcohol, or bituminous adhesives : scrape as much as possible old residues to obtain slighttraces of adhesives. Old floor paintings Check the painting’s adhesion, then sand completely all the surface, wash, degrease, rinse carefully and let completely dry. Associated to the epoxy barrier HYTEC E336 XTREM The GRIP A936 XPRESS is installed after 24 to 48 hours maximum after the epoxy hardening time. Let it dry 2 hours minimum before the self levelling underlay installation. Coverage From 80to 120g/m²/ laying Storage stability Up to 12 months in the original unopened container stored between 10°C and 30°C Remark Underfloor heating systems must comply with current building regulations. Turn off the heating 48 hours before starting the work. The heating should be turned up to its operating temperatures gradually, in stages over 48 hours after laying the floor covering. Do not apply when underfloor heating is in operation. In all cases, always observe the drying time. Cleaning Clean tools and fresh spillages with water.
