Excess bitumen, adhesive or laitance should be removed by light scabbling or mechanical captive shot blasting or grinding, followed by vacuuming to remove debris and dust. Large cracks or holes may be filled using Bostik ULRapidset in accordance with its Technical Data Sheet. Priming – Porous substrate: Prime with Bostik Ultra Prime A510 – Non-porous substrate: Prime with Bostik Ultra Prime Grip A520 – If the cementitious surface is not sufficiently compacted, remove loose material or consolidate using Bostik Ultra Moisture Seal 1K P500 – For substrates with greater than 5.5% moisture content or subject to rising damp, apply Bostik Ultra Moisture Seal 1K P500 or Ultra Moisture Seal E500 as a vapour barrier – Floors treated with Ultra Moisture Seal should be treated as non-porous and primed with Ultra Prime Grip A520 Always refer to the primer’s Technical Data Sheet for full details.
